It helps to know what you need. Let us give you an idea of how we can help you.
Coaching is not counselling, mentorship, or advising. Coaches help you discover your own way forward by asking powerful questions, listening, and helping you to evaluate your strengths, opportunities, values, and decisions. As a professional life coach, Gail will help you truly Embrace the Journey of your life! Gail is a certified life coach through the International Coaching Federation.
Strength assessment and development uses positive psychology assessment to help people develop their greatest potential. Think of great writers, athletes, or musicians - they needed both natural talent and hard work to develop their skill. In order to have the time to develop those gifts, there was a lot of other things they did not focus on. When we stop only trying to correct our weaknesses, and instead focus on fully developing our strengths, we can accomplish great things. Gail and Scott use Clifton StrengthsFinder (A Gallup product) and one on one coaching to help you understand the potential of your strengths. This can also then be used in teams to help team members better understand, appreciate, and utilize each other strengths. It can truly be transformative when everyone knows what they bring to the table and how to bring their best.
Leadership development: If you are a leader on any level, you want to contribute your best. Scott can help you assess what is happening in your leadership role and tailor sessions to helping you become a better leader. This is a mixed model of coaching with directed questions, but also the ability to give you some ideas of options to try, other leadership resources, and ways to develop leadership.

Embrace Your Journey: Coaching Meeting regularly with Gail Dooley to help you fully embrace your life journey.
As your coach, I will be committed to your: Goals – You set the agenda and you choose the goals. I will pray for you, listen carefully to you, ask purposeful questions, and help you achieve the goals that you set. Encouragement – I am your personal cheerleader. It is my job to encourage, support, and affirm you as you explore new avenues in your life. Accountability - I plan to partner with you in holding you accountable for the changes you decide to make. I will strive to help you achieve what you set out to do and at the same time attain a healthy balance in your life. You are the one who will decide what and when accountability is needed. Growth - I will lend you all my strengths in listening, discerning, providing clarity, creative thinking, brainstorming, strategizing, energizing, and motivating. While I cannot implement the changes you desire, I will do what I say I will do. The action and results will then be up to you. "I've been coached by Gail, countless hours, and so many aspects of my life are better for it. From daily rhythms, to attitude, clarity in goals, and learning to be more gentle with myself. She is present with you, every step of the way, challenging and cheering you on. I would recommend coaching with her to anyone!" - Ruth Harris

Embrace Your StrengthsWe utilize Clifton Strengthsfinder (TM). This is a psychometric tool with lots of research behind it. We use this to talk about some of your best attributes, your top 5 "strengths". They have a lot to do with how you see and interact with the world. It helps you realize what you are naturally gifted towards. We help you discover how you are utilizing these strengths, how to mature them, and how they can help you more fully realize your potential. We also help you understand the pitfalls of misusing your strengths (I know for me, any tool I don't understand how to use correctly seems to become a hammer!). We will help you better utilize your own strengths, and how to recognize, appreciate, and better utilize the strengths of others around you.
Once everyone on a team has done their own strengths coaching it can become a powerful tool to develop more efficient and satisfying team work. We also offer a "Different Like Me" Team Strengths workshop designed to help bring your team together and empower each team member to bring their best to the team. I found Strengths helpful, because it has helped me find a way to communicate with my team more effectively." - Pastor Aaron Shank

"I meet with Scott Dooley regularly to gain wisdom. It has helped me in the way I approach ministry and relationship that’s surround it. Scott was able to pick up on a few things I had said over a few different meetings and brought it to my attention. Once I was able to see what was going on internally I was better able to navigate the situations and adjust accordingly."
